Dear Splendido:

Just a quick note to let you know how much my husband and I enjoyed our dinner with you on the 27th. We are both lawyers in New York City and dine out very often (both in connection with our work and because we love to eat well!), and our dinner at Splendido ranks among one of our best dining experiences, ever. The service was exceptional -- hats off to Iain Hill, who not only took great care of us on Saturday night but also arranged for us to have a wonderful, different experience on Sunday evening. And the food and wine pairings were fantastic -- the only menu item that fell a bit below spectacular, in our opinion, was the scallop, which was a bit overdone and could have been a touch warmer when it arrived at table, but everything else knocked our socks off. We also thought the space was lovely (and the little benches for the ladies' handbags a really nice touch!). All in all, a wonderful, memorable evening.

We will tell our friends about you (although we know you are not a secret), and we look forward to our next trip to Toronto and our next meal with you.
