Dear Yannick, Chef David & all the staff at Splendido,
On behalf of the board & staff at Second Harvest, thank you
so much for the fundraising dinner you hosted for us on
January 28. We are very fortunate to have your support and
involvement to help us reach our goals. The even raised
close to $17,000 which will help Second Harvest deliver
enough food for almost 34,000 meals. The hungry people
served by our agencies will benefit greatly from your
generosity.
In addition to the fundraising, the evening was a wonderful
opportunity for us to engage new supporters of Second
Harvest, thank some of our major donors and share a
spectacular, elegant evening with those who share or vision.
We could not have done with without your truly outstanding
contribution.
The setting and atmosphere were sophisticated yet welcoming,
the service unparalleled and the food and wine, divine. We
were most impressed with the way in which the evening flowed
so seamlessly, no doubt due to your rigorous attention to
detail and guest service. We really appreciated being the
beneficiary of this incredible evening, and the guests have
nothing but rave reviews about this fabulous dining
experience.
I’d also like to offer a special thanks to Yannick, whose
impromptu addition of a dinner for four to our Silent
Auction ignited the bidding and really helped us to reach
our target.
We are so fortunate to count Splendido amongst our
supporters and we look forward to working with you again in
the future. Please know that your generosity on January 28
has made a real impact, and thank you for sharing our vision
that no one ever need to hungry in our community.
